We offer therapy in two formats to suit your needs:

Face-to-Face Sessions:

Visit our comfortable, welcoming practice for an in-person session.

Telehealth:

Speak with a psychologist from the comfort of your home via secure video conferencing.

A weekday appointment is charged at $250, and an afterhours (after 5pm) or weekend (Saturday) appointment is charged at $270.

We do offer limited bulk bill appointments, and there is currently a considerable waitlist for these.

A referral is not required to see a psychologist. However, if you wish to access Medicare rebates, visiting your GP to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan and referral will entitle you to a rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Speak to your GP to check your eligibility.

Some private health insurance plans include psychological therapy coverage. We recommend checking with your health fund provider to confirm your level of coverage and any applicable benefits.

Umbra Psychology offers face to face appointments in Miranda, Sutherland Shire and in Sydney CBD for some services. Our clinic address is:

The office tower is accessed via Penprase Lane, through the double glass doors next to Blood Bank.

Take the lift or the stairs to level 1.

Upon arrival, tap on the digital receptionist screen, find Fiona Simson or Umbra Psychology and the digital receptionist will call me. Please take a seat in reception, and I will be out soon. If I am delayed, I am likely with a client. I try my best to run on time, so you shouldn't be waiting too long!

We are close to Miranda Westfields and public transport. There is parking beneath the building, which is free for the first hour, and $4 per hour thereafter. Enter off Kiora Road or Central Road.

There is street parking available too.
